The successful candidate must have an interest in acute inpatient care and enjoy working in a busy and challenging environment. Have good communication skills and show willingness to develop in the position of staff nurse.

The unit provides assessment, treatment and stabilization of patients with serious mental health problems. Felindre ward is a 16 bed and 2 emergency bed acute admission ward for adults (18 -65 years old) who suffer with serious mental health problems and covers the Powys catchment area., Being the smallest Heath Board in Wales means that you won't get lost in the crowd.
