Join a Care Provider That Truly Values You Make a Difference Every Day Learning Disabilities Nurse Manager (RNLD) Remote Salary: £45,000-£50,000 per annum (depending on experience) Location: Remote (UK-based) with travel across the South West, Oxfordshire, and the Midlands.


Are you a passionate and experienced Registered Learning Disabilities Nurse (RNLD) looking for a rewarding role with the flexibility of remote working? At MCS Healthcare, we are seeking a dedicated Learning Disabilities Nurse Manager to join our clinical team. This is an exciting opportunity to use your specialist knowledge to support individuals with learning disabilities, provide clinical guidance, and help deliver high-quality, person-centred care while working from home.


What You’ll Be Doing



  • Managing a caseload of new and existing clients with learning disabilities and complex care needs.

  • Carrying out initial assessments and developing person-centred care plans.

  • Conducting regular clinical reviews to ensure care remains safe, effective, and responsive to clients' needs.

  • Carrying out spot checks and quality assurance visits to monitor standards of care.

  • Completing staff competency assessments and signing off clinical competencies.

  • Providing clinical supervision, guidance, and support to Health Care Assistants and support staff.

  • Working closely with families, case managers, commissioners, and multidisciplinary teams.

  • Supporting the mobilisation of new care packages and ensuring a smooth transition into services.

  • Promoting best practice and ensuring compliance with safeguarding procedures, CQC standards, and NMC guidelines.

  • Maintaining accurate clinical documentation and reports.


What We’re Looking For



  • Registered Learning Disabilities Nurse (RNLD) with a valid NMC registration.

  • Experience managing clients with learning disabilities and/or complex care needs.

  • Experience carrying out competency assessments and supervising care staff.

  • Strong clinical assessment and decision-making skills.

  • Excellent communication and organisational skills.

  • Ability to work independently while managing a varied caseload.

  • Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel for client visits when required.

  • A compassionate, professional, and person-centred approach.
