Full Job Description

  • Managing member relationships and supporting members.
  • Delivering key elements of our member retention strategy, including onboarding, engagement and renewal activities.
  • Building strong relationships with members and identifying opportunities to increase engagement with CLA services.
  • Producing and analysing membership and retention reports.
  • Maintaining accurate membership records and supporting the ongoing development of our CRM system.
  • Representing the CLA at member-facing events, shows and meetings across the South East region.

    We're now looking for a Membership Relations Manager to join our South East team. This varied role combines account management, member engagement, data analysis and stakeholder relationship management. You'll help strengthen member relationships, support retention, and ensure members receive an excellent experience throughout their membership journey. We're looking for someone with experience in account management, membership, or another relationship-focused role, with strong communication, organisation and attention to detail. Experience using CRM systems would be advantageous., You should also be willing to learn, keep up to date with issues affecting CLA members, and develop a strong understanding of the CLA's purpose, products and services.

    The Country Land and Business Association (CLA) is the membership organisation for owners of land, property and businesses in rural England and Wales. We champion the interests of our members and provide expert advice, services and support to help them succeed.

    This is a full-time, permanent role based at our South East office, with requirement to work in the office at least 3 days per week.
