Meet and Greet Volunteer

Are you friendly, approachable, and looking to make a difference in your community? We're seeking enthusiastic volunteers to welcome patients, families, and carers attending our Learning Disability Service.

As a Meet & Greet Volunteer, you'll help create a warm and inclusive environment by greeting visitors, assisting with sign-in, providing directions, answering basic enquiries, and supporting the smooth running of clinics.

This is a fantastic opportunity to gain NHS experience, develop new skills, and help improve the experience of people with learning disabilities and their families. Full training, support, and travel expenses are provided. Join us and be the friendly face that helps make every visit a positive one., o Ensure a welcoming atmosphere for all patients and relativeso Sign patients in on S1o Direct patients and relatives within the departmento Replenish leaflets and information when requiredo Replenish sensory items in clinical areaso Accompany patients to other areas of EQ as requiredo Answering telephones and door at EQ and fielding enquiries and taking messageso Report any concerns to the Supervisor / Service Managero Ensure everyone signs in to the Meet and Greet
