Full Job Description
The post holder will be responsible for managing the day-to-day administration of medical staffing processes, ensuring compliance with employment legislation, NHS policies, and regulatory requirements. Working closely with clinicians, managers, HR colleagues, and external stakeholders, you will help ensure that medical workforce records, recruitment activities, rota management processes, and workforce reporting are maintained to a high standard,
- Manage and coordinate medical staffing administration services across the organisation.
- Support the recruitment, onboarding, and employment lifecycle of medical staff.
- Ensure accurate maintenance of workforce information systems and employee records.
- Monitor compliance with mandatory employment checks, GMC registration, visa requirements, and appraisal processes.
- Produce workforce reports and management information to support operational decision-making.
- Provide advice and guidance to managers and medical staff on staffing procedures and policies.
- Support the implementation of workforce initiatives and service improvement projects.
- Line manage and develop administrative staff within the team where applicable.
We are seeking an organised, proactive, and highly motivated Medical Staffing Administration Manager to join our Medical Division team. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced administrator to play a key role in supporting the delivery of an efficient and effective medical staffing service across the organisation., Significant administrative experience, ideally within an NHS or healthcare setting. - Strong organisational and prioritisation skills with the ability to manage competing deadlines.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Experience of working with workforce information systems and databases.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary environment.
- Knowledge of NHS medical staffing processes and employment legislation is desirable.
