Full Job Description
We are looking to expand our current Ophthalmic Technician team within the department to support a busy and well reputable ophthalmic department.
Main responsibilities are to assist the multidisciplinary team to provide an efficient and effective ophthalmic service. Duties include performing various ophthalmic investigations including visual field and acuity testing, which assesses the visual function of patients attending the eye clinic. The role also includes ocular imaging and day to day administrative tasks. A key element is to assist medical teams in providing gold standard patient care. The role involves meeting and interacting with patients in a friendly and professional manner.
