Full Job Description

Initial duties include: the collection and filing of Health Record Folders into the storage areas and archiving (scanning folders) folder using the Trust archiving system. Eventually, in time leading on to further duties which include: Health Record Folder retrieval, updating patient's demographic details in their folder and on the Trust's PAS system and reception duties. It should be noted that this post is very active and involves a substantial amount of lifting, walking, pushing trolleys and transferring of patient's folders., Initial duties include: the collection and filing of Health Record Folders into the storage areas and archiving (scanning folders) folder using the Trust archiving system. It should be noted that this post is very active and involves a substantial amount of lifting, walking, pushing trolleys and transferring of patient's folders., The postholder will have access to vulnerable people in the course of their normal duties and as such this post is subject to the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 (Exceptions) Order 1975 (Amendment) (England and Wales) Order 2020 and as such it will be necessary for a submission for Disclosure to be made to the Disclosure and Barring Service to check for any previous criminal convictions.

An opportunity has arisen to join this busy and demanding department. You will be motivated, enthusiastic, have good communication skills and work well within a team. The maintenance of patient confidentiality and excellent customer care skills are essential to this post., Qualifications: 3 GCSE passes at level C or equivalent (to include English and Maths). ECDL qualification is desirable.,

  • Please note that the salary advertised is for full time hours. If this post is less than 37.5 hours per week, the salary will be pro-rata. For posts on Agenda for Change pay-scales, new entrants to the NHS will normally commence on the first pay point of the relevant band.
