Medical Records Administrator | Medical Records Department | Spire Bushey Hospital | Hertfordshire | 30hrs per week - part time | excellent benefits | Spire Bushey Hospital has an exciting opportunity for an experienced medical records administrator to join our medical records department. Spire Bushey Hospital is one of North London and Hertfordshire's leading private hospitals, with an excellent reputation for delivering high quality private hospital treatment. All of our consultants are highly experienced and many enjoy national and international reputations. Spire Bushey Hospital forms part of a 4 site portfolio, and is supported by and works alongside Spire Bushey Diagnostic Centre, Elstree Cancer Centre and Spire Pathology Centre. Our theatre team cover a wide variety of specialties including Ortho, Bariatric, General, Gyane, ENT, Urology, Plastics, Ophthalmics, Spinal.   • Preparing and tracking patient records for outpatient, pre-assessment, and admissions clinics
  • Organising, filing, and securely storing medical records, including archiving
  • Responding promptly to requests for records and information
  • Managing data input accurately and efficiently
  • Handling general administrative duties such as telephone enquiries and photocopying
  • Transporting records between departments as required
  • Maintaining strict compliance with data protection regulations

    Experience in a healthcare administration or medical records environment (desirable)
  • Strong organisational skills and ability to manage priorities in a busy setting
  • Confident using Microsoft Office and IT systems
  • Excellent communication skills and a collaborative mindset
  • Comfortable with the physical nature of handling and moving records
