Full Job Description

We're on a mission to find innovative, evidenced based ways to improve our pupils' life chances by raising outcomes whilst protecting our teachers from excessive work load. Can you help us by joining our hard working facilities team to provide exceptional support to our classroom teams?

If you have a track record of great practice, embrace change (but only where there is proven impact) and can form strong, successful relationships with children and adults alike, come and join us!, This is a role where care, professionalism and purpose truly come together. As our Medical and Inclusion Officer, you will be at the heart of ensuring that every child feels safe, supported and able to thrive in school. From coordinating healthcare plans and responding to first aid needs, to working closely with families, staff and external professionals, your work will have a direct and meaningful impact on children's daily experiences.

This is more than a medical role - it is about building trust, creating reassurance and making sure that every child's needs are understood and met with compassion, precision and confidence.

We are looking for someone who combines strong medical knowledge with calm judgement and genuine empathy. You may come from a healthcare, school or welfare background, but what will really set you apart is your ability to stay composed in the moment, think clearly and act decisively when it matters most.

You will bring experience of supporting children or young people, administering medicines and managing sensitive information, alongside excellent organisational and communication skills. Just as importantly, you will be someone who builds trust effortlessly - with children, families and colleagues - and who understands that attention to detail, confidentiality and safeguarding are non-negotiable.

If you enjoy working in a role where no two days are the same, and where your care and expertise make a visible difference every single day, this could be the perfect opportunity for you.

Highworth is a large school which offers delightful pupils and friendly staff. This post is ideal for candidates who wish to develop their career within a caring and stimulating environment. We have a reputation for encouraging the professional development of our staff into leadership positions.

Hours: Part time: 20 hours per week - 5 days a week: 9.30am - 1.30pm every day

Salary: Bucks Range 3 ISN 18 - FTE Salary £30,171 pa, Actual Salary - £14,823 pa
