Full Job Description
- Managing the daily operations of the school medical room, ensuring it is a clean, stocked, and safe environment for unwell children.
- Supervising and organising first aid trained staff from across the school as required.
- Providing first aid to pupils, staff, and visitors, and assessing injuries to determine appropriate action.
- Leading on first-aid arrangements, including conducting risk assessments and maintaining Individual Health Care Plans (IHCPs).
- Overseeing the secure storage and administration of medication in line with school policy and parental consent.
- Maintaining accurate records of incidents and treatments, ensuring confidentiality in compliance with data protection regulations.

- The ability to remain calm under pressure, work autonomously, and communicate effectively with parents and staff.
- A willingness to learn new skills, including the use of school MIS systems (like Arbor) and Google Workspace.
