Medical Engineering - Contracts and Project Manager

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Contract & Project Manager to join the Medical Engineering team at York Teaching Hospitals Facilities Management LLP. The successful candidate may be based at either York or Scarborough Reporting to the Head of Medical Engineering, you will lead the Contract and Administration Team and be responsible for managing a substantial portfolio of medical equipment contracts, procurement activities and departmental projects. You will play a key role in ensuring compliance, delivering value for money and supporting the safe and effective use of medical devices across the Trust. This is an excellent opportunity for a contract or project management professional looking to lead service improvements and contribute to the delivery of high-quality healthcare support services., The post holder will:

• Lead and manage the Contract and Administration Team.
• Manage medical equipment contracts throughout their lifecycle.
• Lead procurement and tendering activities.
• Monitor contractor performance and contractual compliance.
• Deliver Medical Engineering projects and service improvements.
• Support departmental budget management and cost-saving initiatives.
• Produce business cases, reports and governance documentation.
• Maintain compliance with NHS, MHRA and ISO 9001 requirements.
• Develop effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
• Deputise for the Head of Medical Engineering when required.
