Full Job Description

We are seeking an enthusiastic person to join the Medical Education Team to provide support to medical students from the University of Liverpool, University of Buckingham and the University of Chester., The main duty of the role is to organise the delivery of the undergraduate curriculum for medical students that are on placement within CWP. These will include, but are not limited to:

  • Organisation of student timetables
  • Be a single point of contact for all medical students on placement within CWP
  • Provide administrative support to the CWP Undergraduate Leads
  • Participate in regional undergraduate meetings
  • Be a key part of the medical education team at CWP
  • Organisation of teaching and training for medical students and clinical supervisors., All new starters will commence in post on one fixed start date each month, in line with our Prepare to Care (P2C) induction programme date. P2C offers up to 3 weeks training to support you to meet the induction / initial training requirements of the role.

  • Diploma in Higher Education or Equivalent or significant professional experience within a medical Education setting
  • Desirable criteria
  • ECDL
  • Other Business or administrative qualification, Significant experience using the full range of MS Office products internet and e-mail packages.
  • Excellent organisational and planning skills, with the ability to time manage effectively
  • Knowledge of specialist systems used to support projects
  • Ability to pick up non routine tasks and prioritise workload
  • Knowledge of project management methodology, Experience in all or most of the key responsibility areas in the job description, including acting autonomously to provide a project support service
  • Experience of minute taking at meetings
  • Experience of building project plans and supporting short and long term projects
  • Experience of managing a small budget or purchasing resources within a defined budget
