What You'll Do
- To Maintain equipment maintenance records, aligning with GMP/GDP
- To monitor production efficiency, identify and execute process improvements
- Deliver electrical, mechanical, PLC, and instrumentation maintenance across the site on all equipment
- To correctly diagnose any faults and implement sustainable recovery/improvement dealing with the root cause
- To respond promptly and effectively to ensure quick resolution to any equipment issues to minimise any downtime, quality, and efficiency problems
- To provide technical support in response to breakdowns on process and IT systems, plant and equipment, including excellent fault-finding techniques
- To review, improve and apply effective planned maintenance.
- To Increase available line capacity through OEE
- Participate constructively as a member of the department, keeping everyone informed and proactively share your knowledge and expertise within the team
- Proactively taking responsibility to support the wider production team achieve their goals and targets
- Any other activity/tasks as and when requested
Based in the production area you will be mainly responsible for:
- Mechanical Maintenance
- Diagnosing electrical
- Mechanical faults
- Preventative maintenance
- Responsible for providing the relevant supervisor/departmental manager with progress updates and raise concerns where necessary
- Ensure all Health and Safety protocols are followed
- Be able to work as part of a team
- Keep work area in a neat and tidy fashion
- Clear and accurate completion of all company documentation
- A willingness to learn new skills and work under own initiative
Training Outcome
Upon successfully completing the apprenticeship, there may be a permanent role available.
