Mechanics Instructor / Teacher

As a Mechanics Instructor/Teacher, you'll play a key role in bringing learning to life, helping pupils develop valuable practical skills, confidence and independence alongside their academic learning. Working closely with the Headteacher, you'll contribute to delivering high-quality teaching and creating engaging learning experiences that motivate pupils and help them achieve their potential. You'll teach mechanics alongside other subjects as required, adapting your approach to meet the individual needs, interests and abilities of our pupils. Through practical activities, real-world experiences and engaging lessons, you'll help young people discover their strengths, develop new skills and build a sense of achievement. You'll also have the opportunity to contribute to the wider development of the school's curriculum, taking on additional responsibilities as agreed with the Head of Education. • Plan, deliver, and evaluate an engaging and effective Mechanics curriculum.

• Provide personalised and differentiated learning to meet a wide range of needs and abilities.
• Maintain high expectations while building fair, respectful, and trusting relationships with pupils.

• Embed literacy, numeracy, and ICT skills into teaching and wider professional practice.
