Full Job Description
Quorn Foods are delighted to be recruiting for a Mechanical Technician to join our plant engineering function in Billingham.
What you'll be responsible for:
Utilising your existing skills to install, modify, commission, inspect and maintain assets across the plant to appropriate standards, you will do so whilst considering the safety, quality and cost parameters to achieve long-term equipment integrity and reliability.
You will perform these duties in compliance with Quorn corporate and Environmental, Health & Safety policies, coordinating maintenance work on the plant by adherence to our safe systems of work and procedures such as risk assessment, permit to work authorisation etc.
The role will be a day shift role, across a 37.5 hour working week.
Demonstrable background in a similar role within the FMCG, manufacturing or chemical industries
- NVQ Level 3 in Mechanical Maintenance
- Be a team player with the drive to succeed with effective communication skills and an ability to develop winning relationships
- A curiosity and aptitude for problem solving as part of continuous improvement
- A self-starter committed to further self-development
