Full Job Description

We are currently seeking an experienced Mechanical Supervisor to join a major residential project in Birmingham on a short-term contract basis. This role will focus primarily on quality assurance, ensuring all mechanical installations meet required standards and project specifications.,

Oversee and carry out QA inspections of mechanical installations across the project
Ensure all work complies with current regulations, standards, and project requirements
Identify and report defects, ensuring timely resolution
Maintain accurate QA documentation and reports
Liaise with site teams, subcontractors, and project management
Support commissioning and handover processes where required

Proven experience as a Mechanical Supervisor on large residential or similar projects
Strong knowledge of QA processes and mechanical compliance standards
Relevant mechanical qualifications (e.g. NVQ Level 3 or equivalent)
SSSTS or SMSTS certification preferred
Excellent attention to detail and communication skills
Ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines
