Full Job Description

Manage and coordinate all on-site mechanical services installations and testing activities.
Oversee on-site installations to ensure compliance with building regulations and health and safety standards.
Procure materials and equipment in accordance with company protocols and procedures.
Collaborate with the site management team to support the successful delivery of projects.
Plan proactively to prevent issues and address any emerging challenges effectively.
Identify, assess, and mitigate risks, ensuring all works are carried out in accordance with approved RAMS.
Maintain and enforce health and safety standards across the site.
Provide day-to-day supervision of mechanical subcontractors.
Oversee on-site quality assurance processes to ensure standards are consistently achieved.
Attend and contribute to daily on-site briefings and site walks with main contractors.
Oversee the upkeep of the site office and storage areas, while supporting the preparation and implementation of RAMS.
Attend meetings as required and provide relevant updates and input.
Deliver weekly toolbox talks to site personnel.

Essential
Educated to GCSE level (or equivalent)
SSSTS
2391 Inspection and Testing
18th Edition
A qualification in Building Services, Construction Management, or a recognised mechanical trade background.
SMSTS
5 + years' experience in a similar role in an Mechanical environment.
Experience of dealing with multiple sub-contractors as part of complex, multi-disciplinary building projects
Experience of supervising Mechanical Packages on major projects
Excellent organisational skills and the ability to prioritise own workload.
Developed problem solving skills, including the ability to manage conflicting work demands.
Capacity to work independently with limited supervision.
Excellent team player with the ability to lead and develop those within the team
Be able to undertake a continuous review of procedures to achieve and maintain best practice.
Possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills including the ability to liaise and advise staff at all levels, both in written and verbal.
Excellent problem solver with the ability to deliver high quality and practical solutions
To be flexible and work as part of a team.
Able to work under pressure and meet short deadlines.
Must be very 'hands on' with can do attitude

Salary Depending on Experience
