Full Job Description

The role will be is responsible for ensuring that all mechanical related maintenance and installation activities, including contract works is reviewed and completed to an appropriate standard throughout the Estate. The role will require the post holder to work closely with technical and non-technicalcolleagues as part of providing a specialist mechanical knowledge and review process or as part of the overall planning of activities undertaken and completed by directly employed labour and contactors., The role will also require the post holder to work closely with technical and non-technical colleagues as part of providing a specialist mechanical knowledge and review process or as part of the overall planning of activities undertaken and completed by directly employed labour and contactors.

You should also possess good interpersonal and communication skills including IT and both written and verbal. This role includes on-call responsibilities. To meet service needs, you must be able to attend the hospital within an appropriate timeframe when called, hold a valid driving licence, and have use of your own vehicle.
