Mechanical Fitter

Main Duties · Ensure all PPM's and reactive works are delivered in a timely manner on a maintenance scheme in line with the SFG-20 on steam systems. · To report all incidents, accidents and near misses including non-compliant or unsafe conditions at the earliest opportunity. · To attend and fully participate in training. · To undertake training to become mechanical nominated for the Sellafield site. · To coach, mentor and develop team members to reach their full potential. · To assist management and supervisor with all reasonable requests and undertake additional duties in line with capabilities Experience

• Must have NVQ Level 3 in mechanical maintenance and install or equivalent
• Good general knowledge of facilities services, operational practices.
• Sound understanding of nuclear site procedures and practices
Additional Skills
• Full clean driving license
• Good time management skills
• Computer literacy is desirable.
