requirements.Maintain accurate maintenance records, service reports and compliance documentation using CAFM systems where applicable.Follow permit to work systems, isolation procedures and safe systems of work to ensure a safe working environment.Support audits, inspections, lifecycle replacement programmes and minor project activities.Work collaboratively with Estates colleagues, specialist contractors, healthcare staff and site management teams.Participate in on call and out of hours support arrangements as required.Essential RequirementsYou must hold a relevant HTM/Healthcare Mechanical Authorised Person (AP) qualification. A current and in date AP certification is highly desirable.Demonstrable experience operating within healthcare engineering and compliance environments.The successful candidate will be expected to develop into, or support, the Site Lead Mechanical Authorised Person function, making AP competence a key requirement of the role.Relevant Mechanical Qualifications level

You belong in a team where you can act with purpose and thrive in your own way.What You'll Do:Deliver planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance across a wide range of mechanical building services systems. Diagnose faults and carry out repairs on mechanical plant and equipment safely, efficiently and in line with site procedures.Maintain and repair key mechanical systems including:Heating systems and boilersDomestic hot and cold water servicesPumps, valves and pressurisation unitsAir handling units and ventilation systemsCalorifiers, heat exchangers and water heatersPipework, drainage and sanitary servicesMechanical distribution and plant room infrastructureSupport the operation of critical hospital plant to minimise downtime and maintain service continuity.Work in accordance with relevant HTM guidance, healthcare engineering standards and statutory compliance, 3Proven experience maintaining mechanical building services systems within a hospital, healthcare, PFI or similarly regulated environment.Strong knowledge of heating, water, ventilation and associated mechanical plant and infrastructure.Understanding of healthcare compliance requirements, HTM guidance and safe systems of work.Demonstrated fault finding and problem solving skills, with the ability to diagnose and repair mechanical systems effectively.Experience working with permit to work systems, isolations and maintenance management processes.Excellent organisational, communication and record keeping skills.A proactive, safety focused approach with the ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.Desirable qualifications include Legionella awareness, confined space training, IOSH Working Safely and experience with CAFM systems such as Maximo.Additional InformationParticipation in the site's call out rota is required as part of this position.An additional
