Full Job Description
Job Overview:
We're looking for a Static site based Mechanical Engineer to deliver excellent service standards, meet SLA requirements, and keep our buildings operating safely and efficiently.
Responsibilities:
As a static Mechanical Engineer, you will:
· Maintain and repair:
Plumbing systems
Ventilation systems (AHUs, extract/intake) Filter changes
Heating and cooling systems (thermal wheels, FCUs)
Water assets (booster sets, calorifiers, water heaters)
· Deliver high-quality service and respond effectively to client queries.
· Identify and report defects, ensuring all documentation, inspection reports, remedial logs, etc. are completed accurately and on time.
· Carry out manual tasks including working at height.
· Adhere to all Health & Safety, Permit to Work, and safe-system-of-work procedures.
· Be client facing and build good client relations
· Work well within a team
· Exercises good working practices
· Have a can do attitude and have the ability to remain calm under pressure
What We're Looking For:
· Experience working in Maintenance or Facilities Management.
· Relevant mechanical qualifications (e.g., City & Guilds Level 2/3 or equivalent).
· Strong understanding of Health & Safety requirements.
· IT literate with confidence using mobile devices for workflows and reporting.
· Excellent communication and customer-facing skills.
