Mechanical / Electrical Fitter

In this critical role supporting our Defence customers, you'll help deliver and maintain essential power generation and electrical distribution systems. Your work will directly contribute to the success of high-performance equipment supporting military operations. • Disassemble, inspect, clean, test and reassemble mechanical and electrical assemblies to strict standards
• Work with diesel power generation and electrical distribution systems in support of military contracts
• Collaborate with team leads to ensure quality, delivery, and cost expectations are met
• Maintain high standards of safety, documentation, and shop floor efficiency

They are the fundamental qualities that we seek for all roles., Have completed a recognised mechanical or electrical apprenticeship (or equivalent experience)
• Bring experience working on diesel engines or electrical systems in a service or MRO environment
• Be comfortable working independently and as part of a close-knit, goal-focused team
• Show good communication and documentation skills in a regulated environment
• Demonstrate a hands-on, proactive approach with strong attention to detail
  
  To work for the Rolls-Royce Defence business an individual has to hold a Security Check clearance. Rolls-Royce will support the application for Security Clearance if you do not currently already have this in place. Due to the nature of work the business conducts and the protection of certain assets we can only progress applications from individuals who are a UK national or, in MoD approved cases, a dual national.
