We are seeking an enthusiastic and highly motivated Meaningful Activity Coordinator to join our team, supporting patients on our wards to remain active, engaged, and emotionally supported during their hospital stay. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a tangible difference to the experience and outcomes of patients living with dementia, delirium, and frailty.Main duties of the job The post holder will be responsible for planning and delivering a programme of meaningful activities that promote mobility, social interaction, and cognitive stimulation. Working closely with ward teams, you will help create a positive, engaging ward environment that reduces deconditioning and supports patient wellbeing. You will play a key role in encouraging patients to get out of bed, participate in activities, and maintain independence wherever possible, using creativity, communication, and a proactive approach.
