Maths Teacher

We are seeking an enthusiastic and committed Maths Teacher to join a thriving specialist SEMH school. Reporting to the Assistant Headteacher, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality teaching and supporting positive outcomes for pupils, both academically and personally. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is flexible, resilient and passionate about working in a specialist setting. You will be responsible for delivering engaging Maths lessons and contributing to a supportive, inclusive and trauma-informed learning environment where pupils can succeed.,

• Deliver high-quality Maths teaching that supports strong progress and attainment
• Plan and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons to meet the needs of all pupils
• Use assessment effectively to monitor progress and inform teaching
• Contribute to the development and implementation of Maths curriculum and practice
• Support pupils' personal development, wellbeing and engagement in learning
• Work collaboratively with colleagues to ensure effective curriculum delivery
• Teach across a range of subjects where required, including off-site provision if needed
• Make effective use of resources to enhance learning outcomes
  
  Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
• Experience teaching Maths at KS3 and/or KS4 in a specialist or mainstream setting
• A strong commitment to inclusive, pupil-centred practice
• Passionate about making learning engaging, accessible and meaningful
• Able to work proactively and use your own initiative
• Resilient, adaptable and committed to supporting pupils with SEMH needs
