Full Job Description
In this Maths lead role, you will lead a dynamic department ideally with the ability to teach from KS3 -KS5. This role represents an exciting opportunity to guide and inspire this talented team, and act as a coach and mentor and be part of the induction for ECTS. You will:
- Shape and develop a curriculum that promotes: Critical thinking, Cultural awareness Ethical understanding, Respect for diverse perspectives
- Guide a committed team of educators who are enthusiastic and knowledgeable
- Drive academic excellence and student personal development across all key stages
- Foster an engaging and inclusive learning environment
An experienced middle leader or an ambitious teacher ready for a step up - Outstanding classroom practitioner with a strong background in Mathematics
- Visionary educator passionate about developing both staff and students
- Committed to inclusion, academic success, and holistic student growth (QTS required / Leadership training desirable although not essential)
The Academy is an oversubscribed all through Academy in Hillingdon. It currently has a 7 form of entry in the Secondary Phase with a Sixth Form and 2 form of entry in the Primary Phase.
