Math Teacher
Location: Northampton, Northamptonshire
Salary: 42000 - 42000 UKP per year

Position: Math teacher
Hours: 40 hours per week, term time
Salary Details: Up to £42,000 per annum DOE

Cambian Northampton School is an independent specialist provision that provides quality and personalised education for young people ranging from ages 11 to 16 with on-going social, emotional and mental health difficulties (SEMH).
A successful candidate should have:
- Suitable education qualifications such as QTS, a teaching degree or degree and PGCE.
- Successful experience of implementing positive behaviour support strategies.
- Knowledge of inclusive education that challenges students to reach meaningful outcomes for increased independence.
- Knowledge of current curriculum developments.
- Knowledge of child and adults safeguarding procedures.
- Understanding of the principles of good curriculum provision.
Other Requirements:
- A commitment to working in an inclusive setting.
- An awareness, understanding and commitment to equal opportunities.
- A working knowledge of SEN, particularly with reference to SEMH.
