Flexible working arrangements may be considered and discussions with the recruiting manager regarding this are encouraged., We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Senior Maternity Support Worker to join our Homebirth Team at Birmingham Women's Hospital. This role involves providing high-quality, personalised care to women and families choosing homebirth, working closely with midwives to ensure safe and positive experiences., + Support midwives in delivering care during antenatal, intrapartum, and postnatal periods.
+ Assist with clinical observations, documentation, and preparation of equipment for homebirths.
+ Provide emotional and practical support to women and families in their own homes.
+ Promote safe practice and uphold professional standards in line with Trust policies., The main duties of the role are outlined in the main job description. Please ensure that you have read this and have the relevant qualification's prior to applying for this role

+ Level 2 qualification in Maths and English.
+ Level 4 Assistant Practitioner (Maternity) qualification.
+ Care Certificate
+ Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
+ Ability to work flexibly, including on-call duties.
Desirable:
+ Previous experience in maternity or community care settings.
+ Understanding of homebirth pathways and safeguarding procedures.
