Material Handler

Join BAE Systems' Air Sector Manufacturing Team and play a key role in supporting aerospace production by ensuring materials are available when and where they are needed. Operating within a dynamic manufacturing environment, you'll gain experience in logistics, inventory management and continuous improvement while contributing to the successful delivery of critical products and programmes. Core duties:

• Receive, store, issue, and transport materials in line with production requirements and inventory processes.
• Ensure materials are correctly identified, handled, and delivered to the right locations at the right time.
• Maintain accurate stock records and complete material transactions using manual or electronic systems.
• Support production teams by ensuring material availability and minimising disruption to manufacturing activities.
• Conduct inventory checks, stock counts, and material audits as required.
• Comply with health, safety, quality, and housekeeping standards within the working environment.
  
  Valid Forklift Truck (FLT) licence with demonstratable experience operating forklift equipment safely within a manufacturing, warehouse or logistics environment.
• Experience working within a manufacturing, production, warehouse, stores, or logistics environment
• Experience handling, moving, storing, or issuing materials and components
