Through our Linefeed Logistics we manage the flow of parts from material scheduling to delivery to line. Plant MP&L is a challenging, lively, fast-paced, and dynamic environment to work in. Our key focuses are driving flexible solutions and approaches to changing business needs, driving our suppliers and LLP to deliver resilient part supply to line, creating, managing, and delivering complex site flow solutions and driving accuracy of data on our systems. Reporting and communication are huge part of MP&L from financial to build schedules to an individual part supply. We are constantly looking to improve and adapt to drive efficiencies and improvements across our logistics solutions to support the needs and requirements of manufacturing and Solihull site goals. Our Material flow team is an ideal opportunity to use the skills and experience you already have to support our focus of driving cross functional collaboration to deliver the business outcomes. WHAT TO EXPECT A data-driven logistics professional with strong analytical capability, programme support experience, and a proven ability to deliver efficient, well-governed logistics solutions across complex automotive environments.

  • Build robust datasets and analytics tools to support the planning and optimisation of logistics solutions and processes.
  • Leverage data insights and flow analysis to identify efficiency opportunities and drive continuous improvement workstreams.
  • Support the development of vehicle programmes by contributing to business cases, feasibility studies, logistics cost modelling, and solution design for current and future models and facilities.
  • Deliver logistics projects using structured project-management techniques to ensure successful, on-time achievement of strategic business objectives.
  • Apply core logistics principles to develop more effective and efficient marketplace, linefeed, and lineside solutions.
  • Maintain, track, and report MP&L deliverables and milestones, ensuring all targets are met in line with programme expectations.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure logistics solutions are aligned with operational needs, programme timing, and long-term strategic goals.

    A skilled logistics planning professional with proven automotive experience, strong technical capability, and a track record of delivering innovative, data-driven logistics solutions across complex engineering environments.
  • Proven experience in automotive or engineering logistics planning, supporting the delivery of robust and scalable operational solutions.
  • Successful delivery of logistics solutions, including facility design and implementation, utilising modern technologies and digital systems.
  • Competent in AutoCAD, applying design tools to develop accurate layouts and support logistics planning activities.
  • Strong problem-solving capability, using structured methods to identify root causes and implement effective corrective actions.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage confidently and professionally with stakeholders at all levels of management.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications-particularly Excel and PowerPoint-for financial modelling, data analysis, and business case development.
  • Project management experience, ensuring logistics initiatives are delivered on time, within scope, and aligned to business objectives.
