Full Job Description
Ledwood Engineering is recruiting an experienced Material Controller to join our team at Point of Ayr Gas Terminal, Talacre, North Wales.
This is an opportunity to support Eni's Liverpool Bay Carbon Capture and Storage (CCS) Transport & Storage Project, part of the HyNet North West decarbonisation programme.
The successful candidate will be responsible for the receipt, inspection, storage, tracking and distribution of materials, ensuring full traceability, compliance with project specifications and timely availability to support construction activities.
Key responsibilities include:
- Checking incoming deliveries against purchase orders and specifications.
- Maintaining accurate inventory records, material registers and stock control systems.
- Coordinating material inspections with QA/QC personnel.
- Managing material storage, preservation and distribution.
- Monitoring critical materials and resolving stock discrepancies.
- Preparing material reports and maintaining auditable documentation.
- Liaising with site management, engineering, procurement teams and suppliers.
- Ensuring compliance with site safety procedures and relevant UK standards.
The position is site-based, starting ASAP for approximately 18-24 months, with overtime and applicable allowances available.
