This role leads the strategy, roadmap and adoption of marketing technology capabilities, ensuring investments align to business objectives and deliver measurable customer and commercial value. Working closely with Technology, Customer and Digital Transformation teams, the role drives innovation, builds key partner relationships, and establishes the operating models and governance needed to embed new capabilities., The above information is a shortened summary, refer to our policies for full details You will be responsible for
- Building relationships with our key and future mar-tech partners, building roadmaps and identifying opportunities for innovation.
- Defining and delivering the strategic marketing technology roadmap, aligned to business and customer objectives, in collaboration with Technology, Customer and Digital Transformation teams.
- Identifying key opportunities to improve customer engagement and loyalty through new marketing technology capabilities and innovation.
- Supporting our Technology teams with the evaluation, selection and implementation of new marketing technology platforms and capability.
- Partnering closely with our business teams to hand over new marketing technology by establishing best practice, operating models and governance, alongside the Marketing Technology Capability Manager.
- Monitoring industry trends, emerging technologies and AI capabilities, bringing forward recommendations that create competitive advantage.
- Defining measures of success to ensure investment in new technology delivers customer and commercial KPIs.
A proven track record working cross functionally across Marketing, Technology and Legal teams. - Experience developing marketing technology strategy within a large, complex organisation.
- Working with first party data and building capability to unlock targeting, enrichment and execution activities.
- Strong experience and knowledge of CRM, personalisation, customer data and marketing automation. Operational Skills Relevant for This Job
- An excellent communicator and presenter, with the ability to translate business. requirements into technical language and simplify complex technical concepts.
- Proven ability to manage technology vendors and strategic partnerships.
- Commercial awareness with a delivery focused approach.
