Full Job Description
We are looking for a talented and passionate Marketing Manager to lead our Legacy Acquisition programme. You will be responsible for developing and delivering multi-channel acquisition campaigns across broadcast, digital and offline channels, managing a significant marketing budget to inspire more people to consider leaving a gift in their Will. You will manage key external partnerships, including our media agency and Free Will providers, ensuring activity is insight-led, well-optimised and delivers against targets. Working closely with colleagues across the Legacy and In Memory Marketing team, you will help ensure supporters have the best possible start to their legacy journey with the RNLI. You will also support the development of two Marketing Executives, fostering collaboration across the wider team and contributing to a positive, high-performing culture., As a Marketing Manager in the Legacies team, you will be focussed on:
- Developing and delivering multi-channel acquisition campaigns with end-to-end responsibility for delivery, budget, stakeholder engagement, creative development, optimisation and evaluation to achieve targets.
- Monitoring, interpreting and communicating campaign performance, using data, insight and audience understanding.
- Influencing cross-functional teams and external partners - including our media agency and free Wills providers to deliver integrated campaigns effectively and on time.
- Managing and optimising significant campaign budgets, making recommendations on investment, channel mix and resource allocation to maximise return and deliver long-term growth.
- Reviewing, managing and continuously improving processes to enhance the supporter journey, working collaboratively with colleagues across the organisation.
As an experienced marketeer/fundraiser, you'll be comfortable developing and delivering fundraising campaigns, whilst working collaboratively with your peers. To be considered for this role you'll need to have: - Excellent project management skills with the ability to prioritise, reprioritise and juggle multiple campaigns.
- Experience developing effective relationships with agencies, suppliers and internal stakeholders to deliver shared objectives.
- Strong understanding of paid media channels and campaign performance.
- Experience managing significant marketing budgets, evaluating channel performance and making evidence-based decisions to optimise investment.
- Personal resilience and ability to persevere.
- Legacy and/or In-memory fundraising and marketing experience desired, but not essential.
