Full Job Description
Huws Gray Group is looking for an experienced and proactive Marketing Manager to lead marketing activity for its merchant division.
Reporting to Group Head of Marketing, this hands-on role will take ownership of marketing strategy and delivery, across multiple channels and the full marketing mix. This role leads of team of 5 including marketing execs and Graphic designer. Working closely with internal stakeholders, agencies, and suppliers, you will drive awareness, engagement, and growth.
Key Responsibilities
Marketing Strategy and Execution:
Develop and implement marketing plans to support the commercial trading strategy.
Create compelling content and collateral to promote the business and products across various channels, including digital, print, and PR ensuring consistency with brand guidelines
Coordinate with external agencies to produce high-quality marketing materials
Implement monthly and seasonal campaigns, with a focus on measuring campaign performance and ROI.
Feed into social content planning calendar and liaise with social media agency.
Additional Duties:
Stay current with marketing best practices and industry trends, particularly within the construction and related sectors.

Essential Skills and Experience:
Ability to handle and deliver multiple projects to deadlines in fast-paced environments
Agency management - creative, social, media planning
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
Proactive, self-motivated, enthusiastic, and organised
Strong communication skills and experience in managing senior stakeholders
Excellent understanding of current marketing practices
Team player, comfortable with supporting and accepting support from colleagues
Ability to work independently
An eye for detail and accuracy, good spelling and grammar
Professional, polite, friendly and helpful manner
Desirable Skills and Experience:
Degree in Marketing or relevant prior experience in a similar industry or woth the retail sector
Familiarity with UK construction industry, it's key players, current challenges and relevant legislative drivers
Experience working within a manufacturing, engineering, construction, or similar industry
Technical product knowledge and understanding of their applications and uses
Proficiency with data management and analytics
Experience with people management
