Full Job Description
You will play a critical part in shaping and managing marketing, communication and recruitment activities and campaigns, including setting longer term strategies for events, advertising and social media. You will design and deliver omnichannel marketing campaigns, and provide specialist advice and guidance on recruitment, communications and marketing to academic departments and the wider Collegiate University. You will line-manage the Marketing and Events Coordinator and work collaboratively, particularly with a second Marketing and Communications Manager, to develop, implement and monitor strategies to recruit postgraduate students to the University of Oxford.
You will be equipped with relevant professional experience of planning and delivering promotional campaigns via a range of different channels, using social media as marketing and communications tools including paid advertising. You will also have experience of providing and analysing market research and excellent attention to detail and accuracy. An exceptional written and oral communicator with experience of managing complex projects across different teams, the successful candidate will have an innovative and collaborative approach with strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work proactively and creatively with people at all levels.
Spanning the historic streets of the "city of dreaming spires," the University of Oxford has been ranked the world's leading university for nine consecutive years. A place where centuries of tradition meet world-changing innovation, we offer you the chance to shape the future while working in an inspiring environment that promotes excellence. Here, you'll contribute to ground-breaking research that tackles global challenges - from advancing sustainability to pioneering healthcare solutions - and join a diverse, inclusive community that champions your wellbeing, development, and aspirations. Apply now to become part of our extraordinary legacy. Oxford has over 13,000 graduate students, representing more than 50% of the full-time student population. Almost two thirds of our graduate students are from outside the UK, and are drawn from some 140 countries worldwide, demonstrating the highly international character and global reach of Oxford. This is an important role based in the Graduate Admissions and Recruitment Office where you can make a vital contribution to attracting postgraduate students with outstanding academic potential from all backgrounds to apply to Oxford through the development of recruitment activities and campaigns, including events, social media, and advertising.

- A commitment to hybrid and flexible working to suit your lifestyle.
- An excellent contributory pension scheme.
- Affordable and sustainable commuting options, including a cycle loan scheme, discounted bus travel, and season ticket loans.
- Access to a vibrant community through our social, cultural, and sports clubs.
