Marketing Apprentice (Content Creator focus)

Introduction

Create content and creative assets for West Midlands Media and our clients across web, social and short-form video. You’ll complete the Level 3 Multi-Channel Marketer apprenticeship with support from our web, design and marketing teams. If you’re creative, organised and have a portfolio, apply.

About the Employer

WEST MIDLANDS MEDIA LTD is a digital-first creative and marketing business based in Wolverhampton. We support our own brand and a range of client projects, working across web development, design, project management and digital marketing to help organisations grow through stronger online presence, content and campaigns.

What You'll Do

• Create content for websites, landing pages and blogs
• Write and schedule social posts (captions, hashtags, short-form posts)
• Design simple assets (social graphics, banners, basic infographics)
• Repurpose content across web, social, email and video
• Research industries, competitors and trends to generate content ideas
• Support content planning and campaign schedules
• Update website content and page layouts with guidance (CMS/WordPress)
• Create and edit short-form videos for social (including AI-assisted tools where appropriate)
• Work with the team to gather briefs, feedback and approvals, then refine content
• Track basic performance metrics and note what to improve next time

Training Outcome

The possibility of full-time employment on successful completion of your apprenticeship is available, subject to performance and business needs.
