Market Co-ordinator

The markets are central to the success of our town centres. Earlier this year our Leek Butter & Trestle Market was crowned the Uks Best Small Indoor Market, following a £3.4m renovation in 2024, and plans are now in place to refurbish Cheadle indoor Market. The Markets co-ordinator will support the Markets Officer to deliver an effective market service including liaison with traders, processing payments, designing the market layouts, supporting the day to day operations and assisting with various specialist markets & events, including evening and weekend working.

The ideal candidate will have experience in venue management/retail with a good understanding of health and safety. We are looking for a competent and confident communicator who is able to build and manage effective relationships with traders and customers alike.
