Key ResponsibilitieUnderwrite and manage a portfolio of Marine & Energy treaty reinsurance business (including proportional and non-proportional structures)Analyse submissions, assess exposures, and determine appropriate pricing, capacity, and terms & conditionsNegotiate treaty terms, conditions and wordings with cedents and brokersContribute to the definition and execution of underwriting and portfolio strategiesMonitor portfolio performance and propose corrective actions where neededIdentify and develop new business opportunities across international marketsBuild and maintain strong relationships with brokers and clientsStay up to date with market trends in Marine & Energy lines
.RequiremenAround 5+ years of experience in reinsurance, ideally in Marine underwriting or related roleExperience in Marine & Energy lines (Cargo, Hull, Liability, EnergyDemonstrate an ability to work closely with head officeBackground in reinsurance underwriting, or broking will be consideredUnderstanding of treaty structures (proportional and/or excess of lossStrong analytical, negotiation, and communication skillsExperience working with brokers and/or clients in international marketFluent in Spanish is a plus
