Manufacturing Operator - DOT (Test)

We are looking for talented

• Manufacturing Operator DOT (Test) to join our team specializing in Manufacturing for our Engine Test department at Cummins in Daventry, UK. This role is a temporary contract for up to 24 months with the potential to become permanent dependent based on performance and business needs. Hours: 37.5 hours per week Shifts: Weekly rotational shift pattern + Morning shift: Monday to Friday, 7:00am - 3:00pm + Afternoon shift: Monday to Thursday, 3:00pm - 11:00pm; Friday, 3:00pm - 10:30pm The job involves preparation of production engines for test ranging from 38 to 78 ltr. Prepare engines ready for trim when test is complete.   operation + To be flexible within DOT as appropriate, dependent on volume and priority + Complete all daily checks To be successful in this role you will need the following: + Previous assembly or factory experience + Strong mechanical background + Ability to work under their own initiative within the recognised process + Ability to self-manage in order to achieve production targets Education/ Experience: + High school diploma or certificate of completion of secondary education or equivalent experience to the extent such experience meets applicable regulations. + Requires some work experience or intermediate level knowledge obtained through education, training or on-the-job experience.
