Full Job Description

Respond rapidly to equipment issues using your electronics knowledge and experience. Working to ensure that a timely repair is carried out, and clear progress updates are provided to the production teams. Lead cross functional teams within Teledyne and external engineers, recording actions and minutes of meetings on the more complex issues as they arise.

Perform complex Preventive maintenance activities ensuring all Health and Safety requirements are adhered too.

Project work, installing new equipment and Equipment modifications. Providing all the necessary documentation and training to others.

Responsible for producing all risk assessments for all equipment. Also host and control of contractors review their method statements and risk assessments issuing a permit to work.

You will provide technical support to equipment covering all areas of silicon wafer processing equipment, package and test. Lead and participate in equipment installations, improvements and solve under lying equipment issues. This equipment is housed within three clean areas requiring full gowning.

It is a multi-disciplined role where you work hands on and gain experience with working with gases, chemicals, robotics, vacuum, electrical and electronics.

We are looking for a team player who has excellent organizational skills able to manage their own time and workload efficiently.

The willingness to wear Self contained Breathing apparatus in this role after you have passed a medical and received training., Educated with a minimum of HNC in electronics. Having previously worked in a multidisciplined role with a strong electronics skill set.

Preferred Skills/Experience:

Experience of working in a cleanroom environment.
