You will work closely with design, operations and quality teams to ensure products are manufactured efficiently, to cost and to a high-quality standard.Key Responsibilities will include:Provide engineering support to production and assembly linesDesign new systems, equipment and processes for the introduction of new products or the improvement of existing onesFacilitate
problem solving activitiesI-dentify and eliminate non-value adding activitiesMaintain Bills of Materials within the ERP systemReview engineering drawings and process ECRsManage operations configuration trackingSupport production readiness reviewsAssist with ergonomic workshopsRaise and maintain necessary documentation to incorporate design changesSupport operations departments with operator training and developmentImplement and maintain 5S and safety standardsKeep up to date with current and developing trends in the manufacturing industryUndertake other reasonable duties in line with business needs and objectivesWhat You\'ll Bring :HNC or equivalent qualification in a relevant engineering disciplineMinimum 3 years\' experience in a manufacturing engineering roleExperience working in a manufacturing or industrialisation environmentStrong ability to interpret 2D drawings and 3D CAD dataKnowledge and application of lean manufacturing principlesGood problem-solving skills
