Full Job Description

We're recruiting for a Manufacturing Engineer to join our Power Distribution team and help bring products from design into reliable, efficient production. This role is a great fit for someone who enjoys solving problems, working closely with operators and engineers, and finding better ways to build high-quality hardware. You'll support day-to-day manufacturing, improve processes, help introduce new products and design changes, and play a key role in keeping production moving safely, smoothly, and on time. If you like being close to the work, partnering across teams, and making a real impact on how things get built, this is a great opportunity, Roles and Responsibilities

  • Responsible for designated overall processcontrols withinour Manufacturing processes.
  • Define and control production processesincluding tooling and equipment.
  • Validate design specifications and shop floor application of new product, tools, or equipment.
  • Drive accountability through daily/weekly operating rhythms to ensure ME driven tasks are completed in line with production requirements.
  • Evaluate quality control processes and make recommendations for improvements.
  • Design and NPI reviews with NPI into current manufacturing processes.
  • Analyse and report on production processes, methods, schedules, downtime, cycle times, availability of machines and waste management
  • Key stakeholder during new equipmentselectionin line with process and industry best practice(CAPEX Approvals)
  • Ensure that the organisation's manufacturing processescomply withrelevant policies and regulations.
  • Coordinating maintenance and repair services to keep production equipment operational.
  • Identify/evaluate improvement opportunities.

    Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college or minimum 5 years' experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Ability to programme manufacturing equipment.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage project/challenging workloads.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Demonstrated problem solvingcapabilities., Strong oral and written communication skills.
  • Demonstrated ability toanalyzeand resolve problems.
  • Ability to document, plan, market, and execute programs.
  • Established project management skills.
