Full Job Description
This role is perfect for college/university students, recent graduates, or anyone looking for weekend work around existing weekday commitments. No previous manufacturing experience is required as full training will be provided. As a Manufacturing Assistant, you will:
- Carry out shot blasting and linishing/polishing processes on orthopaedic implants
- Follow manufacturing procedures and work instructions
- Handle components carefully to maintain quality standards
- Complete production records accurately
- Maintain a clean and safe working environment
- Work as part of a team to meet production targets
- Follow all health, safety and quality requirements
A good standard of education, including GCSE Maths and English (or equivalent) - A positive attitude and willingness to learn
- Good attention to detail
- Strong manual dexterity and an interest in hands-on work
- The ability to work well as part of a team
- A reliable and proactive approach Previous manufacturing experience is beneficial but not essential.
- £12.71 per hour
- Weekend-only working pattern
