What You'll Do

This manufacturing apprentice role will enable you to learn the skills required to be able to assist the production department, resources, and systems to ensure the company maintains a high-quality product, always in line with company policies, regulatory standards, and statutory guidelines / deadlines.

At the end of the 3-year apprenticeship with the training provided and qualifications achieved we expect that you will become fully competent in being a manufacturing operative and be able to complete the following duties:

• Set up different machines
• Run the machine to create a pulp that will be used to produce paper
• Complete quality and productivity checks
• Undertake routine maintenance whilst maintaining safety and reliability standards and working as part of a team

Training Outcome

• This apprenticeship and qualification could lead to you becoming a senior production operative or trainee team leader

Working Arrangements

Working Week: Monday to Wednesday, 7.00am - 3.30pm. Thursday - Friday, 7.00am - 3.00pm. At some point during your apprenticeship, you may be expected to work on shifts (6.00am - 6.00pm or 6.00pm - 6.00am).
