Full Job Description

We're looking for a Managing Quantity Surveyor to join our Norfolk team based in Wymondham Norfolk. This is a fantastic opportunity to lead and develop a commercial team whilst building strong relationships with clients and suppliers, ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, and to the highest standards., Hours: Permanent Fulltime 37.5 per week - condensed hours and some flexibility on hours available if desired, just let us know when you speak to us We are unable to offer certificates of sponsorship to any candidates in this role. What will you be responsible for? As a Managing Quantity Surveyor, you'll be working within the commercial team, supporting them in delivering profitable projects and excellent client relationships. Your day to day will include:

  • Leading the commercial team to secure maximum sustainable value from schemes and programmes of work
  • Overseeing all commercial functions and managing contractual matters across projects
  • Managing cost controls, risk registers and proactively delivering identified opportunities
  • Building and maintaining strong working relationships with clients, suppliers and team members
  • Supporting and developing team members through regular appraisals and clear leadership
  • What are we looking for? This role of Managing Quantity Surveyor is ideal if you:
  • Have a strong understanding of contract terms, commercial frameworks and risk management within a project environment
  • Enjoy taking ownership of the commercial performance of projects, ensuring value is maximised while maintaining strong governance
  • Can confidently produce, monitor and adapt forecasts to reflect project changes and evolving business needs
  • Have experience leading, mentoring and developing commercial teams, helping others achieve their full potential
  • Build trusted relationships with clients, suppliers and stakeholders through clear communication and a collaborative approach
