If you're passionate about making a meaningful impact, we invite you to bring your expertise and energy to our team.What You'll Do At Elekta:As Manager, User Experience (UX) Research, you will lead Elekta's Global UX Research team, ensuring our hardware and software products are safe, effective, and easy to use. Working closely with Product Management, Engineering, Regulatory, and Design leaders, you will champion user-centred design and usability best practices across the business while supporting the development of products that improve cancer care worldwide.Reporting to the Head of UX & Design, you will play a key role in shaping user research strategy, leading usability activities for regulated medical devices, and driving measurable
improvements in product UX.Responsibilities:Lead, coach, and develop a global team of UX Researchers, fostering a culture of collaboration, growth, and excellence.Define and prioritise UX research activities across Elekta's product portfolio to maximise user and business impact.Partner with Product, Engineering, Regulatory, and Design teams to ensure user needs are embedded throughout the product lifecycle.Drive the adoption of user-centred design practices and advocate for the value of UX research across the organisation.Oversee user research and testing programmes, from early discovery through to product launch and continuous improvement.Lead usability engineering activities for regulated medical devices, ensuring compliance with relevant regulatory requirements.Responsible for user risk analysis and documentation related to usability, both parts of the regulatory submission processEstablish meaningful measures of UX quality and use insights to guide product improvements and
decision-making.Manage relationships with external research partners where specialist support is required.What You'll Bring: Significant experience and academic qualifications (Masters level preferred) in UX Research, Human Factors, HCI, Psychology, or a related field.Experience leading and developing UX teams, including coaching, mentoring, and performance management.Experience with user-centred design of complex, safety-critical productsSignificant experience of usability testing and a wide range of other user research methods, including observational/ contextual research, interviews, surveys, etc.Experience supporting regulatory submissions for medical devices, including formal usability testing and user risk analysis.Proven ability to influence senior stakeholders and build alignment across cross-functional teams.A track record of delivering measurable business impact through user-centred design.What You'll Get:In this role, you will work for a higher purpose; hope for
