Full Job Description

As an Oracle Technical Environment Manager, in Oracle Delivery Services, you will have the opportunity to:

    Oracle Fusion Cloud environment management experience - Experience managing Oracle Fusion Cloud environments across implementation, test, release, deployment, cutover, HyperCare and transition to support.
  • Strong understanding of Oracle technical delivery - Practical knowledge of Oracle technical components such as integrations, data migration, reporting, security, extensions, APIs, environment refreshes, patching and technical testing.
  • Environment planning, governance and control - Ability to define and manage environment strategies, access controls, release calendars, refresh plans, configuration governance, deployment controls and environment readiness criteria.
  • Technical delivery leadership - Ability to lead technical teams, coordinate dependencies across functional, technical, data, testing and infrastructure workstreams, and manage plans, risks, issues and quality across complex programmes.
  • Stakeholder and communication skills - Confidence working with senior client stakeholders, Oracle, third parties, onshore/offshore teams and business users, with the ability to explain technical environment issues clearly and pragmatically.
  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills, with the ability to tailor messaging to diverse audiences and collaborate effectively with technical and business teams
  • Practical understanding of AI and Generative AI capabilities, with the ability to identify and shape opportunities to apply AI across all phase of project delivery and deliver measurable business value
  • Ability to travel when essential
  • All applicants must be UK security cleared or willing & eligible to go through the process.
  • Desirables:
  • Exposure to Oracle Integration Cloud, BI Publisher, OTBI, FBDI, ADFdi, REST/SOAP APIs, Visual Builder, extensions or other Oracle technical tools.
  • Experience applying AI-enabled tools, automation, and data-driven techniques to improve test design, execution, reporting, risk identification, and defect prediction, driving efficiency and innovation throughout the testing lifecycle.
  • Experience with Oracle quarterly updates and release management - Experience planning and coordinating Oracle Cloud updates, regression testing, release impact assessment and environment sequencing across multiple programme phases.
  • Experience in large-scale transformation programmes - Experience supporting public sector, finance transformation, HR transformation, procurement, shared services or complex multi-workstream ERP programmes.
  • Relevant certifications or delivery methodology experience - Oracle Cloud certifications, technical architecture certifications, or practical experience using delivery methods such as Agile, Waterfall, hybrid delivery, PRINCE2 or equivalent.
