Full Job Description
As the Manager, Key Accounts, you will lead efforts to manage and develop strategic partnerships, including enterprises and API suppliers, in the EMEA region. You will focus on initiatives such as executing Airbnb's regional supply strategies, achieving quarterly supply goals related to revenue and supply acquisition, and driving growth through operational excellence. A Typical Day:
- Lead the North EMEA team of Key Account Managers and Connectivity Partner Managers, running partner management initiatives and driving new business development to support supply acquisition and growth.
- Ensure the team consistently meets or exceeds quarterly supply goals for revenue, supply acquisition, API feature build and adoption, and other KPIs.
- Establish an operational rhythm, track KPIs, and analyze business growth, market trends, and key metrics to identify opportunities, drive new initiatives, and address business challenges with urgency.
- Develop and implement effective business practices for managing strategic Enterprise and Connectivity partners, while creating comprehensive regional playbooks.
- Support your team by attending QBRs and meetings with Key Accounts, advocating internally for partners' needs.
- Participate in industry and partner's events and organize internal partner events.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with RevOps, finance, legal, product, and other teams to streamline processes, improve efficiencies, and scale supply growth.
- Coach, mentor, and support your team members in their career growth at Airbnb.
- Organize team business gatherings, quarterly kick offs and team building events.
- Travel is required for face-to-face partner meetings, representing Airbnb at industry events, and attending team offsites. Travel will account for approximately 25% of your time.
10+ years professional experience in a fast paced environment, ideally in Key Account or Strategic partnership roles. - Highly motivated and engaged team builder with ability to coach and mentor team members.
- 3-5 years experience managing and leading highly effective teams with a proven track record of meeting and exceeding goals.
- Strong analytical skills to identify high-impact opportunities, thinking out of the box and objectively evaluate projects.
- Ability to develop a strategy, communicate it clearly and get buy-in and support to execute against quarterly goals.
- Strong executive presence and the ability to effectively influence top leaders internally and within the industry.
- Experience working, collaborating and influencing cross-functionally with product and tech teams is a must in addition to working with other cross functional teams like legal, Rev Ops, Finance and others.
- knowledge of OTA, Property management systems, and experience working with product, API and/or software partners.
- Passion for Airbnb, travel, and the sharing economy.
- Local Knowledge - you must have solid operating experience in Europe.
- Excellent verbal/written communication and presentation skills in English.
- Proficiency in one of the following languages is preferred: German, French.
