Management Accountant

We are seeking a qualified and proactive Management Accountant to join our Finance team and play a pivotal role in supporting the financial success of the organisation. Reporting to our Senior Management Accountant, you will take ownership of the preparation and delivery of accurate management accounts, financial reports, budgets and forecasts, ensuring key stakeholders have the information they need to make informed decisions. This is a varied and influential role where you'll oversee financial controls and accounting processes, monitor organisational performance against budget, and ensure key returns and statutory requirements are delivered accurately and on time. You'll also provide meaningful financial insight and reporting to budget holders, contribute to the development of financial procedures and controls, and support wider strategic planning activities. You'll help drive high standards across the finance function while promoting a culture of continuous improvement and accountability.

You will be a qualified accountant with proven experience in a senior finance role, bringing strong technical accounting knowledge alongside excellent analytical and leadership skills. You will be confident producing management accounts, budgets and forecasts, as well as interpreting financial information and turning it into actionable insights for a range of stakeholders. We're looking for someone who is highly organised, detail-oriented and committed to delivering accurate, high-quality work. You'll be an effective communicator with advanced Excel and financial systems knowledge, capable of building positive relationships across the organisation and supporting non-financial managers to understand and utilise financial information. Experience of developing processes, strengthening controls and leading a small team would be highly beneficial. Most importantly, you'll be a collaborative and solutions-focused professional who enjoys taking ownership, driving improvements and making a real impact within a forward-thinking finance team.
