Full Job Description

We're looking for a talented and driven Senior Management Accountant to join our finance team. This is a key role where you'll take ownership of financial reporting, support operational decision-making, and help drive continuous improvement across our site. You'll also play an important leadership role, supporting, developing, and managing the management accounts team while working closely with operational stakeholders.,

  • Produce accurate and timely weekly and monthly management accounts.
  • Deliver and enhance weekly P&L reporting and monthly reconciliations.
  • Lead variance analysis across materials, labour, and performance metrics.
  • Develop and maintain detailed margin analysis, including SKU-level reporting.
  • Support budgeting and forecasting processes.
  • Manage balance sheet reconciliations and standard costing processes.
  • Identify and drive systems and process improvements.
  • Deputise for the Finance Manager when required.

  • Be a qualified accountant (CIMA, ACCA or ACA).
  • Have experience in a manufacturing environment, ideally FMCG.
  • Have a strong understanding of standard costing.
  • Be confident working in a busy finance function with competing priorities.
  • Demonstrate strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Be highly organised, self-motivated, and able to work independently.
  • Have excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate across teams.
  • Be confident using MS Office, particularly Excel.
