Full Job Description
We are seeking a motivated Management Accountant to join the Digital Reporting Finance team. This role plays a key part in producing accurate and timely management accounts for JD fascia across UK & Europe while supporting efficient financial operations.,
- Responsible for the preparation of the monthly management accounts for JD fascia across UK & Europe
- Manage P&L reporting and provide insights on cost lines to business teams.
- Produce monthly balance sheet reconciliations, identifying risks and opportunities and communicating these to the Finance Manager
- Identify and implement automation or streamline opportunities within our current processes to enhance efficiency, reduce manual effort, and improve the accuracy and timeliness of financial reporting.
- Collaborate with internal teams to resolve issues that delay month-end close processes.
- Support the timely and effective completion of the group audit, working confidently with Deloitte.
- Partner with commercial finance teams to deliver actionable insights that will support strategic decision-making.
- Support the transformations team in projects that will be rolled out within the business.
Fully or part qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, or CIMA). - Experience in a similar role within a fast-paced, multi-fascia online retail or commercial environment Key Competencies
